This post will deal with the problem where you need a password to log in to a computer . There are 2 basic type of account –
1. Administrator
2.Non-Administrator

There are situations where you compulsorily need the password for logging into a computer without which it become impossible to perform other tasks and so here it is , by the following method you can reset or empty the password asked .
Hacking The Windows Administrator password:
We will be doing this with a simple tool/software namely Offline NT password and Registry Editor . This is a offline software and so you can use it after you shut down your pc and enter the boot mode .This tool works with all Windows version from NT3.5 to Windows 8.1.
Other than the hacking of passwords this tool is also used for various tasks on the registry under Linux/UNIX .
Steps –
- You need to create a boot drive . It can be done either on a CD or on a Pendrive. Download the tool from the following links :

It is recommended To create a boot Disk rather than a Usb device .
How Does This Work Actually?
The Windows Log in passwords and other encrypted passwords are stored in the following location c:\\Windows\system32\config . This file remains inaccessible as long as the OS doesn’t start as this is the part of the Windows Registry . So what we do is we access the above location via boot tool and make the necessary changes that we want to make . And hence this tool will help you to reset or remove the password with the administrator account or any other account .
Hacking The Windows Administrator password:
For this you need the administrator privileges. The following steps are to be performed –
Step 1:Open The command prompt .
Step 2:Type “net user” and hit the Enter.
Step 3:After this the system will show you this list of accounts on the particular computer . Let us say the account name is xyz here.
Step 4:To reset the password of the xyz account – Type ” net user xyz *” and hit Enter . The system will now ask you to enter the new password and hence you are done with the job .
